The Kelowna Chiefs will need to come from behind in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League championship series. The good news is, they’re coming home.
The Chiefs trail the best-of-seven final 2-0 as they prepare to host the Beaver Valley Nitehawks Saturday and Sunday in Games 3 and 4. Face off both nights at Rutland Arena is 7 p.m.
The Nitehawks took a two-game lead in the series with a 7-1 win Thursday night in Fruitvale.
Tre Mason scored for the Chiefs early in the first period before Beaver Valley rung up seven unanswered goals.
The Nitehawks won Game 1 on Wednesday by a 4-2 score.
