Another Chilliwack Chiefs alum has landed an NCAA honour.

Kaden Pickering has been named Player of the Week in the East Coast Athletic Conference (ECAC) after potting five points in three games with the St. Lawrence Saints.

All three games were against the Colgate Raiders, and while Pickering’s crew dropped two of them, the third-year forward had at least one point in each match. In Saturday’s 4-3 win, the 22-year-old speedster picked up two goals and an assist.

Pickering is up to eight points in 10 games, matching his total from 28 games last season.

The New York product spent the 2017-18 season with Chilliwack, posting 27 points in 54 regular-season games. He was a big part of Chilliwack’s RBC Cup national championship, collecting three goals in six tournament games.
