Claremont Spartans fall at AAA provincials

The Spartans fell in the opener 79-55 to the Brookswood Bobcats, which finished third overall.

The Claremont Spartans ended their provincials with two straight wins but finished outside of the top-10 as the Spartans had dropped its first two matches at the senior girls B.C. High School Basketball Provincial Championships at the Langley Event Centre last week.

The Spartans fell in the opener 79-55 to the Brookswood Bobcats, which finished third overall. Game 2 was a close affair as the Spartans lost 49-46 to the Carson Graham Eagles. The Spartans returned to the form that earned them second place at the Island championships with a 70-48 win over Prince George and 61-55 win over the Dover Bay Dolphins.
