Cohos cruise in Victoria

The final was with the Victoria Racquet Club and was a hard fought nail biter

The Campbell River Novice Coho Team travelled to Victoria this past weekend  to finish off their season at the Victoria Racquet Club Novice Spring Classic Tournament.

The boys cruised through the Round Robin portion of the Tournament posting four victories over teams from Port Alberni, Juan de Fuca and Victoria Racquet Club, earning their way to the Division Final.

The final was with the Victoria Racquet Club and was a hard fought nail biter with the Cohos coming out on top 3-2.

A determined Racquet Club Team gave the Cohos a great game. Spencer-Uzzell-Paulos opened the scoring in the first period.  Reid Watson tied the game late in the second and Cale Livingston put up the game winner in the third.

Noah Stenvig made many great saves and received the game MVP award, while defenseman Brandon Boyd, earned the “Digger” award at the final!
