The Raiders beat Brentwood 56-17 in their opener, setting up a final game against Shawnigan Lake. Highland lost 60-48.

Shawnigan Lake School hosts the Island tourney Feb. 13-15. Highland plays Glenlyon Norfolk of Victoria in their first game on Thursday. Tipoff is 3:45 p.m.

The Raiders play again on Friday and Saturday.

“We are hoping to get another crack at Shawnigan in the Islands, with the hope of finishing in the top four on the Island,” Highland assistant coach Andrew Duncan said.

The top two of eight teams competing at Islands qualify for the AA B.C. championships.
