The Comox Men’s Club celebrated a very special Sunday morning on June 15.
“It was Suds Sutherland’s 92nd birthday and as you know Suds is a regular at the club, playing 18 holes almost every Sunday and nine holes almost every Wednesday night, sometimes walking rather than riding in a cart,” said Men’s Club captain Daniel Bailey.
“He’s an inspiration and a hero to many of us at the Comox Golf Club,” Bailey said. “Anyone from the golf community can feel free to join us on Wednesday evenings at 5 and Sunday mornings at 7:45 for our weekly events running until the end of September,” Bailey added.
