A 55+ baseball team is being organized in the Valley to play exhibition games against a new Port Alberni team with players of the same vintage. The games will take place on Wednesday mornings and Saturdays, alternating between Comox and Port Alberni.
We expect the games to be competitive but a lot of fun,” said organizer, Kevin Dobbelsteyn. “The rules of play will include a few modifications meant to make the game more enjoyable. But, bases will still be 90 feet, and only wooden bats will be used.
