Austin Jones netted the winner as Concept Physio unlocked Turn-Key Controls 2-1 in North Okangan Men’s Soccer League play Wednesday night on Marshal Field #4.

The first half ended scoreless, punctuated by some excellent saves at both ends.

Enzo Paal opened the scoring for Concept Physio (4-7) on a great counterattack after a solid scoring chance by Turn-Key (5-6-1).

Minutes later, Jones converted to make it 2-0 on some good work on the goal line.

The Controls answered when defender Sean Bonnett lobbed a moonshot in from 40 yards out that eluded the Concept defence.

Turn-Key pressured hard for the final 25 minutes, but couldn’t find the net for the equalizer. Great chances by Evan Moore and Rob McGloin were turned away by the Physio defence.

Nation of Domination Eagle Homes used a diving header by Dave Knight in the 81st minute to clip league-leading North Enderby Timber 1-0 Wednesday in Salmon Arm.

Both teams failed to capitalize throughout the game. Rain came down in buckets for the first half. NOD improved to 6-4, while NET dipped to 9-2-1.

Devon Marriott, David Dobernigg, Jay Aarsen, Darren Nobrega and Alberto Lopez got in on the offence as Monashee Surveying slammed the Salmon Arm Outlaws 9-1 at Marshall #2.

The surveyors are 4-5-1, the Outlaws are 0-10.
