Dr. Lee dominates Salmon Arm

Dr. Lee/Squires Four Pub blanked Salmon Arm Setters Pub 6-0 in Salmon Arm.

It’s beginning to turn into a broken record, but Dr. Lee (6-0) hasn’t been scored on this season.

Leah Frye sniped the hatty for the floss crew, while Jacquie Hansen, Deanna Baker and Jill Rintoul added singles.

Dr. Lee go up against TED United of Salmon Arm Tuesday night at Marshall #4 (7 p.m. kick-off).

Setters fell to 0-3-1 and entertain the Goplen Drillers of Vernon Tuesday night at the Salmon Arm Savings & Credit Union Sports Centre.

Kaos earn first win

The Shuswap Kaos edged the Okanagan Season Sista’s  2-1 at Marshall #4.

The Kaos (1-4-0) burst out of the gates, as they scored twice in 10 minutes for their first win of the season.

Diane Neudorf scored for the Sista’s (2-4-0) from a great cross from Lanis Kelly.

Kelly was named player of the match, as she played several positions due to a short roster.

The Kaos face the Gray Monk/Longhorn Impact of Vernon Tuesday night at Marshall #2.

VQA even with Drillers

The Vernon Square Liquor Store VQA tied the Goplen Drillers 1-1 at Marshall #5.

Teresa Collins, normally a centre midfielder for VQA (2-3-1), started in net and made great saves and Jane Higgins scored on a loft shot from midfield. The Drillers move to 1-2-3.

Vernon Square, who got stellar play from Shelly Johnston, battle Season’s Sistas of Vernon Tuesday night at Marshall #3.

Impact scoreless with Chick Kickers

The Gray Monk/Longhorn Impact and the Chick Kickers battled to a scoreless draw at Marshall #3.

Bree Picket missed a penalty kick for the Impact (3-1-2) with 10 minutes left.

The 4-1-1 Chick Kickers’ best chance came off a header from Robyn Sherwood.

Recording shutouts were Derri Ann Cooper for the Impact and Shauna Duncan for the Chick Kickers.

Blazers bust up Little Tex 3-2

The AF Blazers defeated Little Tex Outlaws 3-2 in Division 1 play at Marshall #1.

The Blazers (2-2-2) got goals from Carissa Stanek, Ali Clarke and Tanya Nijar in the first half.

Little Tex (0-2-3) clawed back in the second with goals from Kira Lee and Sarah Strobiki.

Strobiki came close to tying it 3-3, but banged it off the crossbar.

Chelsea Hagen made some key saves late for the Blazers.

The Blazers take on the North Enderby Celtics Tuesday night at Marshall #1 (6:30 p.m.)

Celtics force third straight tie

The NET Celtics and Glenn Power played to a scoreless draw in Salmon Arm.

Charmaine Biagoni made big saves for the Celtics (0-2-4), who only ran 10 women and still forced a tie with the undefeated Glenn Power squad (4-0-1).

It was NET’s third straight draw.
