Shelley Cooper carded a two-round 160 to take overall low gross at the Ladies Club Championship last weekend at Spallumcheen Golf & Country Club.

Overall low net honours went to Deb Heale, who finished with 132.

In first flight action, Jean Bushey earned low gross with 168, while Dianne Hill (172) and Sigi Bentham (173) rounded out the top three.

Carolyn Berube fired a 142 (retrogression) to take low net, with Laurie Arthur (142) and Pam Page (148) finishing second and third respectively.

Mabel Hamilton ruled the second flight low gross with 180, Sheryll Bissell was second with 188 and Bonnie Taylor third with 190.

Second flight low net honours went to Noreen Payne (138), with Diane Baker (146) and Sylvia Tyldesley-Gore (148) in second and third.

Kay Cornish recorded low gross with a 194 in the third flight, followed by Marion O’Flynn at 195 and Faye Viergutz at 199.

Sharon Fuhr took the low net with 143, Holly Bailey was a stroke back at 144 and Marg Wild earned third place with 147.

In the fourth flight, Janie Crockett shot a 204 for low gross, followed by Joyce Todd (205) and Ariel Thorburn (209).

Jill Gerhardt secured low net with a 143, Edna Little was second with 148 (retro) and Anne Kelly ranked third with 148.

Meanwhile, Bushey carded a 4-over 75 to claim overall low gross at Spall’s Super Senior Ladies Championships.

Pat South took overall low net with a 63.

Berube stroked an 84 to win the first flight, with Shirley White taking second gross with a 92.

Payne earned first flight low net with a 70, followed by Hamilton at 72.

O’Flynn’s 93 was good enough for low gross in the second flight while Wild was runner-up with a 98 (retro).

Janan Tidbal used a 69 to take low net, with Thorburn earning second with a 70.

Crockett topped the third flight with a low gross of 96, followed by Little at 100. Kelly’s 68 was good for low net in the third flight, with Gerta Zagar three strokes back at 71 for second place.
