Local equestrians showed their skills and took top honours at the Salmon Arm Fall Fair Horse Show held over the weekend.
Local winners included:
• Ashtynn Rebinsky on Sox claimed Overall High Point Junior Champion and English High Point Junior Champion;
• Gail Howard on Sweety Lynn was named Overall High Point Select Champion;
• Corry Stuart on I’ma Cubin Playboy earned English High Point Select Champion;
• Michelle Larson on Dusty Red Cowboy claimed English High Point Senior Champion; and
• Donna Dimion-Ruth on azippomaidofdiamonds earned the title of Western High Point Senior Champion.
Other noted winners at the horse show were:
• Lynn Freeland of Enderby on Tarzan is Terrific was the winner of the $650 Western Pleasure Open Stake;
• Janet Crich of Armstrong on Skip to my Image won the $350 Hunter Under Saddle Senior Horse Stake; and
• Anna Green of Armstrong on Pen Sen Jewel claimed the $200 Reining Jackpot.
