The course was muddy in parts, but Thibault said the racers “live for that.”
“We had a race at Western Speedway two weeks ago … and it was snowing and people were psyched,” said Thibault. “These guys like the bad weather. They like all the weather, it’s just different conditions, so when it’s raining, it’s more muddy and when it’s dry it’s faster. The cross racers, they look forward to anything.”
