They’ve been saving the best for last. Clearwater Secondary School Senior Girls volleyball team won three out of three games during playoffs last Monday in Chase.

The girls beat Chase, Logan Lake and Clinton in straight sets.

The success came after a playday held at CSS on Thursday, Nov. 3.

Then the Senior Raiders played their best matches of the season but could only come away with one win, beating Logan Lake in straight sets. The girls played well against Chase and Barriere, splitting the first two sets and just falling short in both third sets.

Speaking about the playday, assistant coach Mike Lau said, “Outstanding play by Megan Sim (Grade 8), Tori Barstow (Grade 10), Alex Brown and Dylana Elliot (both Grade 12) showed that these girls have progressed quite a long way from the beginning of the season!”

Wednesday the Raider girls played at St. Ann’s in Kamloops against St. Ann’s, Barriere and Kamloops Christian. The top two teams from the second round of playoffs would progress to the Okanagans. Look for an update in a following edition of the Times.
