Fun Night Curling in Barriere the evening of Friday, Jan. 13, was a fund raiser for the Barriere Food Bank.  Twenty-eight enthusiastic folks turned out for the event, contributing 103.12 lbs. of food, and $225 in cash and gift certificates for the Food Bank. Curlers are encouraging area residents to join them on Saturday, Jan. 28, for a fundraiser BINGO at the Fall Fair Hall in Barriere. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., for a 7 p.m. start. Bring a friend and enjoy a fun evening, with concession on site.
