Baili Guidi, 17, won the Mt. Revelstoke Steamer Hill Climb on Sunday morning with a time of 1:12.17.3.
The race participants started at the Tournament of Champions Monument on Track St. W behind the Railway Museum and climbed to the top of the Meadows in the Sky Parkway in Mt. Revelstoke National Park.
The course was 26 km and climbed 1,450 metres with an average grade of 5.6 per cent.
There were 74 participants from ranging in age from 15-80 with times ranging from just over an hour to just over three hours.
Manuel Fehlmann, 34, placed second with a time of 1:14:34.8.
Emily Unterberger, 22, was the fastest female with a time of 1:27:30.6, close behind her was Marg Fedyna, 53, with a time of 1:27:33.1.
Zoe Larson, the youngest participant at 15 years old, finished with a time of 2:10:50.8. Eric Rayson, the oldest participant at 80, finished in 2:07:29.6.
Racers had the option of riding back down or arranging to get picked up at the top. Many chose to layer up, brave the chill and zoom back down the parkway.
