Dairy Queen Panthers finish second

Players enjoyed strong showing and had fun at year-end minor hockey tourney

The Atom C Panthers would like to thank their sponsor, Dairy Queen, for their support of minor hockey in the Valley. The Panthers place 2nd this weekend out of 12 teams and won the silver medal at their year-end tournament. They were 3-0 going into Sunday afternoon's game where they lost 4-3 in the last two minutes of play to Lake Cowichan. The team thanks the coaches and fans who came out and supported them at the tourney. 'What a Great way to finish out the season,' a spokesperson said.
