Austin Willier, #16, fights for possession of the puck behind the Winfield goal during the first playoff home game, Friday, Feb. 1 between the Chase Midgets and Winfield. The Midgets won 3-2.. Emotions ran high with plenty of power-plays against Chase for fighting their way to the puck. Coach Craig Stevens said they got off 42 shots-on-goal to Winfield’s 25, but took 37 minutes in penalties versus Winfield’s 10. Chase beat Winfield Saturday too, elevating them to the second round.
