Dodgers take all peewee comers

The Ladysmith Dodgers went undefeated in the Chris Fenton Memorial Peewee Baseball Tournament in Chemainus

The Ladysmith Dodgers went undefeated in the Chris Fenton Memorial Peewee Baseball Tournament in Chemainus, capping it off with an 11-4 victory over the Duncan Royals in the championship game.

Behind the second-place Royals, the Ladysmith Orioles finished third, while the Lake Cowichan Lakers were voted the Most Sportsmanlike Team of the tournament. The Chemainus Canadians won one of their four games.

The 10-team field included one squad each from Chemainus, Saltspring Island and Lake Cowichan, two from Ladysmith and Nanaimo, and three from Duncan.
