The Chase and District Curling Club is excited to announce they have received a grant of $6,000 from Interior Savings’ Community Investment Fund to support youth curling programs in the community.

The funds will be used to purchase equipment that will help meet the needs to safely and properly allow Chase youth to learn and enjoy the lifelong sport of curling.

The curling club has been involving the schools in a three-lesson introduction to curling as part of their school curriculum, and also offers an after-school junior curling program.

The club is also looking to introduce a floor curl program within the schools.
