Drivers hit the dirt for weekend of off-roading events in Quesnel

Side-by-sides, trucks and other off road vehicles competed in different obstacle courses

Dirt was flying at the Quesnel Mud Bogs course as drivers eagerly put their off road vehicles through the test.

The Quesnel 4×4 club hosted an obstacle course weekend on Aug. 21 and 22.

Curtis Warner took first place for Rock Crawlers, with Catlin O’Flynn and Sam Davies winning second and third respectively.

The short course was won by Allan Wootten, with Corey McRae and Chris Kellas rounding out the podium.

Rob Wilkie won the Trail Truck races, Keane Blight took second and Kevin Shaw won third.

In the side-by-side race, Chris Stephans won first, with Kevin McLean and Levi Barlow also placing in the top three.

The 4×4 club held events in June and July as well.
