Eagles host BCPBL Championships

The Victoria Premier Eagles will host the 2015 Quality Foods BCPBL Championship July 30-Aug. 3.

The Victoria Premier Eagles welcome Victoria baseball fans to a thrilling weekend of baseball July 30 to Aug. 2 and 3, when they host the 2015 Quality Foods BCPBL Championship.

Hosted in conjunction with the Victoria HarbourCats at Royal Athletic Park’s Sports Traders Diamond, the competition will showcase much of the top baseball talent in British Columbia.

This weekend the final four teams, the North Shore Twins, Victoria Eagles, Nanaimo Pirates and Okanagan Athletics will battle it out for the championship.

Play starts at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 31 with the Twins versus the Athletics.

The opening ceremonies kick off at 4:30 p.m. followed by the Eagles versus Pirates at 5:30 p.m.

Saturday’s games begin at 10 a.m. with the Pirates vs. Athletics, the Twins vs. the Pirates at 12:30, Eagles vs. Athletics at 3 p.m. and the Twins vs. Eagles at 5:30 p.m.

On Sunday, semifinals begin at 10 a.m. and finals are at 12:30 p.m.

Admission is $2/student per game and $5/adult per game or $20/weekend pass or $40/family pass

The Victoria Eagles Premier squad is part of Victoria Eagles Baseball and draws players from across the Capital Region.
