Salmon Arm Nation of Domination Eagle Homes grounded Turn-Key Controls 3-0 in North Okanagan Soccer League play Wednesday night.

Salmon Arm Nation of Domination Eagle Homes grounded Turn-Key Controls 3-0 in North Okanagan Soccer League play Wednesday night at Marshall Field #5.

With second place on the line, Eagle Homes went up 2-0 early and Turn-Key tried to mount a comeback after losing a man to a red card.

The field was very slippery which caused great chances for both teams. Turn-Key applied some pressure in the second half with Nathan Tucker just missing the net from the 18 after a sweet feed by Jeremy Kler. Reid Foerter took a pass from Tucker at the 12-yard line and bounced a strike wide.

Eagle Homes got their third goal on a hard bouncing pass back to keeper Gregg Douma, who mishandled the wet ball. Douma recorded numerous fabulous saves in the final 30 minutes to keep things close.

Evan Moore was the Pharmasave Man of the Match for Turn-Key, playing a bold game in the middle and almost nailing the top corner with a late scorcher. Eagle Homes took over second spot at 5-1, while Turn-Key dipped to 4-1-1, in third place.

North Enderby Timber moved within a point of Turn-Key by icing host Salmon Arm Outlaws 8-1.

The Outlaws (0-7) took advantage early with a lucky 25-yarder that dipped under replacement keeper Adam Marwood.

The 4-3 Timber, playing a man short, responded right before the half when La Senza Man of the Match Graham Ross sent Brent Poulsen in on a breakaway which he converted off the post. It was 1-1 at the half.

The Timber broke out in the second half with Dexter James beating the keeper to a rebound of a Poulsen shot and heading in the winner.

Tyler Loose then beat multiple defenders to another gorgeous Ross through ball to put NET up 3-1.

Poulsen tallied his second on a unselfish feed from Andy Stein for the tap in and then completed the hat trick on yet another breakaway assist from Ross with Poulsen chipping the charging keeper.

James and Ross then supplied indentical give- and-go goals with each other exposing the Outlaw defence. Stein capped the offence by tapping in a Poulsen cross from the goal line. League-leading Salmon Arm Courvas shut down Monashee Surveying 3-0 at Blackburn Park.

Rookie midfielder Dustin Boreen,  who never played youth soccer, showed huge determination and hustle against the youthful and talented Courvas, taking the Red Robin Man of the Match for Monashee (3-4-1).

Courvas (6-1) came out strong and took advantage of a new Monashee formation with three snipes in the first 15 minutes.

Monashee shuffled back to their old formation and played Courvas even the rest of the night.

The Peters Tirecraft at Revelstoke Stallions game was postponed.
