Cariboo North MLA Coralee Oakes, right, congratulates Kelowna Chiefs player and former Quesnel resident Myles Mattila. Mattila was named to the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce and Okanagan Edge’s Top 40 under 40 program, which recognizes innovative young professionals in the community. Mattila advocates for mental health, fundraising and campaigning to grow awareness. He also recently was named to a list of athletes who will be presented with one of Sport BC’s Presidents’ Awards at a ceremony next month.
