Evan Foster survives Toronto Argonaut cuts

The Chilliwack Minor Football grad has been placed on the CFL team's practice roster.

Chilliwack’s Evan Foster has been added to the practice roster of the Canadian Football League’s Toronto Argonauts.

The Chilliwack Minor Football product was active in Toronto’s preseason finale vs Hamilton on Friday.

Foster recorded his first CFL quarterback sack, dropping Ticats pivot Jeremiah Masoli in the second quarter. The Langley Rams grad and former Manitoba Bison finished with four tackles. Foster was one of 10 players added to the practice roster while many others were cut by TO.

Foster was a third round pick (19th overall) of the Argos in the CFL draft.
