The sun keeps shinning and Fairley keeps winning. It was a warm day on the links this past Sunday. Lloyd Fairley was the overall winner carding a gross 75, great game Lloyd. Second low gross was Glen Trask with a 77. On the net side of the day it was Glen Barton with an impressive 62, followed by Bill Morin’s net 65. Closest to the pins were recorded by Craig Acland on No. 2, Hans Galesloot on No 4, Glen Trask on No. 13 and No. 17 was won by Gord Unger. Winner of the Charity closest to the pin on No. 7 was Jim Proteau collecting $30 for his efforts.
Next Sunday is the twin travel scramble. There will be four man computer picked teams. This is a chance for the members to get to know one another, by playing with someone they don’t usually play with. The shot gun will be at precisely 8 a.m., please try to be there about 7:45 a.m. so you can get to your assigned tees on time. Please enter in the Pro Shop with your handicap.
