ICE BREAKER
The 108 Ladies Golf Club is having an Ice Breaker Tournament on Sunday, May 14 starting at 10 a.m at the 108 Golf Resort. The event is open to everyone but signup is required by 6 p.m. on Friday, May 12 (tomorrow). The sign-up location is the Pro Shop.
LITTLE BRITCHES RODEO
The Little Britches Rodeo is coming up fast on May 20 and 21. This is the 51st the event runs. Kids 14 years old and younger will participate in barrel racing, stake racing, chute dogging, goat tail tying, pole bending and more. On both days, juniors will compete in the morning, while senior kids will compete in the afternoon. Additionally, there will be multiple draws, merchandise and concession. Gate prices are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and students (kids 6 and under are free).
BS & DRIVE
For even more country action, from May 19 to 22, the BS & Drive Weekend is on at Huber Farm and Equestrian Centre in 70 Mile House. Drivers from around the province will meet to swap stories, visit, take driving lessons, and go out on country drives. Spectators are welcome.
