Fast fundraising at slo-pitch fundraiser

Three-day event brings together 57 teams in support of BC Children’s Hospital at Softball City.

As Cam McKellar of the Bad News Sunny Bears (from the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation) chases a loose ball, BNS Bandit (one of Bank of Nova Scotia’s teams) makes it safely to first base at the The 24th-annual Slo-Pitch in support of BC Children’s Hospital at Softball City on May 25.

About 1,000 players from 57 teams representing mining, retail/wholesale, real estate, financial, professional and other industries aimed to raise $400,000 for the hospital during the tree-day event.
