Fastball playoff championship knotted at one apiece

Red Rock Grill and the Shuswap Defenders are deadlocked in the 100 Mile Men's Fastball League playoff finals

Shuswap Defenders Antoine Sargent pounded two moon-shot home runs and collected five RBIs during game 2 of the 100 Mile House Men’s Fastball League playoff championship finals. Red Rock Grill and Shuswap are knotted at one game apiece and play for all of the marbles at Lumberman’s Park on July 10, starting at 7 p.m.

There will be a game 3 in the best-of-three 100 Mile Men’s Fastball League playoff championship, as the Shuswap Defenders knocked off the Red Rock Grill 15-7 on July 5.

The slugfest saw the two teams combine for seven home runs, with five of them coming off the Defenders’ bats.

The rubber match will be held at Lumberman’s Park in 100 Mile House, starting at 7 p.m.
