Fastball teams meet in final

The Nanaimo Senior Men's Fastball League championship could be decided as soon as tonight (July 27). Palladian Developments and the Budget Red Sox play at 6:30 p.m. at May Richards Bennett Pioneer Park in Game 2 of the best-of-three series.

The Nanaimo Senior Men’s Fastball League championship could be decided as soon as tonight (July 27). Palladian Developments and the Budget Red Sox play at 6:30 p.m. at May Richards Bennett Pioneer Park in Game 2 of the best-of-three series.

Budget won Game 1 on Tuesday night by a 2-1 margin in a bit of a pitchers’ duel. Craig Snyder earned the win for the Sox.

Game 3, if necessary, will be Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Pioneer Park.
