Fastball Venom go 2-2

The Elks Club #45 and Legion #25 Vernon Venom U19 girls went 2-2 at the Summerland fastball tournament.

The Elks Club #45 and Legion #25 Vernon Venom U19 girls went 2-2 at the Summerland fastball tournament.

Coached by Dave Munk and Ryan Williamson, the Venom won their opening game 13-3 over North Delta, Stefani Anderson was named MVP.

West Kootenay brushed back the Venom 7-2.

The game was knotted 2-2 in the fifth when West Kootenay scored five runs.

Lexie Edwards was MVP for her outstanding catches in left field.

Abbotsford stopped the Venom 8-1, with Dallyce Edwards was named MVP for her great plays at second base.

Vernon throttled Summerland 27-1 in their final game. The Venom scored 13 runs in the fourth and Ali Roine was named game MVP.
