About 40 competitors came out to Society Snow and Skate’s first ever S-Games on April 16, held on a purpose built course that included booters, a big hip jump and whole bunch of improvised jib obstacles.
The course was just above the mid-mountain lodge at Revelstoke Mountain Resort. The event featured a party-like atmosphere and the considerable contest emceeing skills of Society owner Karl Jost.
Jost thanked all those who helped make the event happen. “I would also like to give a huge shout out to everyone who made this possible! Volunteers building and helping out all day, sponsors for providing a huge prize pool, Revelstoke Mountain Resort for hosting the event, DJs Ray Ray and Wes for playing tunes all day, and everyone who came out to watch and enjoy the first annual winter S-Games!”
