Medicine Hat hosted the Canadian Men’s Senior Championship at Desert Blume Golf Club last week. Summerland’s Len Filek missed the cut for the third and final round after shooting 156, for 12-over par. Also competing from the South Okanagan was Penticton’s Dean Bates, who shot 164, for 20-over par. The championship was won with a score of 209, seven under par.
