Salmon Arm resident Daphne Brown crosses the finish line at the Whistler Ironman on July 30. Brown completed the 3.86 kilometre swim, the 180.25 km bike ride and the 42.16 km run in 13 hours, 41 minutes, seven seconds. Michael Ogloff also completed the Ironman with a time of 11 hours, 15 minutes, 44 seconds. Ogloff’s wife Lauren Koch completed the Ironman 70.3, a triathlon half the distance of the full Ironman on the same day with a time of six hours, eight minutes, 34 seconds.
