The Centreline Attack blanked the Chickkickers OMG 4-0 in North Okanagan Women’s Soccer Association Division 2 play Thursday night at Marshall Field #5.
It was their first win in three tries under head coach Gregg Thalheimer.
Shelby Fisher had a pair of beauties while Jodi Hawthorne and Meghan Markus had singles.
Brianna Thalheimer and Ashley Stringer were rock-solid on defence, barely allowing any shots on net. Forward Monika Jatel played a smart game with brilliant passes and some great runs on net.Tessa Derksen and Peggy Schepp spilt the keeper duties.
In other play, the Brew Crew bounced The Mix 3-1 at Marshall #2.
Shelinda Morin supplied a deuce and newbie Lauren Smorodin added a single for the Brew Crew. Char McNaught replied for The Mix.
Do-Itt Drywall shut down the OTC/Sunterra Sistas 3-0 at Marshall Field #1.
The Sistas had several chances but couldn’t drive one home. Keeper Diane Neudorf was superb.
