Abbotsford Rugby product Aaron Flagg will be playing professional rugby in England next year.

Flagg recently signed with Rugby Football Union second-division squad Moseley Rugby Club, which plays in a 1,300-seat stadium in Birmingham.

According to the club, “Aaron brings a mobility to the lock forward position combined with an aggressive defence that has earned him Canada ‘A’ and full international honours.”

The 6’5” Flagg has been competing in Abbotsford Rugby Football Club tournaments the past few years, and has experience playing in New Zealand and in Wales, at Neath RFC. Flagg also played three games for Canada’s national team in 2013.

Last season, Moseley finished in 11th place, just escaping relegation to the third tier of English Rugby.
