Jordan Rendle had five points as the Ridge Meadows Flames finished the junior B regular season Friday, the 13th, at home with a 7-3 victory over the Mission City Outlaws.
After a scoreless first period, Nicholas Maydaniuk put the Flames ahead 1-0 at 8:58 of the second.
Rendle went to work in the third, with three goals and two assists in a 12-minute span.
Boston Colley, Cameron Alder and Ben Chipman also scored for the Flames. Dale Howell had three assists, while Jonathin Weloy added two. Shawn Tilton, Christopher Chen, Brandon Inwood, Colley and Alder also had helpers.
Kurt Klimek made 41 saves for the win, the Flames’ 16th of the season.
Ridge, at 16-25-0-3 and a goal differential of minus-44, came last in the Harold Brittain Conference and missed the playoffs.
Rendle led the Flames in scoring this season with 15 goals and 22 assists for 37 points. Colley had 35 points, while Bradley Crompton and Danny Wilson each had 15 goals.
