Former NHL player Brad Marsh will be coming through Kelowna this weekend as part of a cross-Canada bike ride in support of the Boys and Girls Club of Canada.
Marsh is a retired 15-year veteran of the NHL, the current president of the Ottawa Senators Alumni Association and a renewed businessman and philanthropist, is back in playing shape as he prepares to take his bike out on the open road and bike across Canada in support of the Boys and Girls Club of Canada.
Following the philosophy he shares with others to “Work Hard – Do Your Best – Have Fun,” Marsh is riding across Canada to raise awareness and funds for the Boys and Girls Club. He will be documenting his ride along the way as part of his ongoing 90 Day Challenge events. His moving documentary, “Living the Adventure of Life ONE 90 Day Challenge @ A Time,” will showcase the philosophy.
On Saturday, Marsh will ride through Kelowna to play a floor hockey game with local Boys and Girls Club members and guests. The public is welcome to come out and meet the NHL legend at the Rutland Boys and Girls Club at 355 Hartman Rd at 2 p.m.
