SIX YEARS after playing for the Penticton Vees, Beau Bennett (78), won the Stanley Cup with the Pittsburgh Penguins on June 12. Bennett got into one playoff game during the Penguins drive to the Stanley Cup.

Beau Bennett, who played with the Penticton Vees in 2009-10, saw action in one playoff game with the Pittsburgh Penguins, who defeated the San Jose Sharks to win the Stanley Cup Monday.

Bennett raised the Stanley Cup above his head for the first time in his four seasons. In 33 games, Bennett registered six goals and 12 points in an injury-riddled season. The Gardena, Calif., native was selected 20th overall in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the Penguins.
