Just a week from now, Arbutus Meadows in Nanoose Bay will host the annual Island Classic show jumping event, which is sanctioned by Equine Canada.
Marking it’s 10th anniversary, the Island Classic event will feature some of the best riders from around the province.
The four-day equestrian event starts on July 8 and runs through to July 12 and is open for all spectators to attend for free.
This is the “highlight show” for Arbutus Meadows, which features it’s fair share of equine events throughout the year.
The event will also serve as a qualifier for jumpers and their horses looking to make it into the 2016 B.C. Summer Games, which will be held in Abbotsford (July 21-24, 2016).
