In a pair of home- ice contests, two teams from the KIJHL Okanagan division visited Chase and each took away two hard-earned points.

Friday night the 13th saw the Princeton Posse fall behind 2-0 in the first period.

The local lads, expecting they could coast to victory, found out the hard way that hard work comes through each and every time.

Kaleb Boyle opened scoring in the first with Chad Wilde getting a power-play marker.  Then the Posse got five in a row, three on a third period, five-minute major before Buddy Summers made it interesting with a late power-play goal.

Mike Byer faced 49 shots in going the distance in goal.

Sunday afternoon the 15th the high powered Osoyoos Coyotes came to play at Art Holding Memorial Arena.

In the first, Wilde and Boyle kept the contest tied and then the howling dogs went to work.

In the third, Connor Harding got his first of the year with Summers completing scoring for the Heat.

Jake Mattes faced 50 shots between the pipes.

Connor Venne pocketed three assists in a 6-4 loss.

The last home game before a holiday break goes Saturday the 21st versus the Kamloops Storm.

As a holiday treat the game is free admission.

Come on out with the kids and watch a hot product on cool ice.
