A silent auction and barbecue fundraiser has raised nearly $6,000.
The events were held by Langley’s Hybrid Athletics on June 2.
The money raised will go toward sending Hybrid’s team, the Fraser Valley Centaurs, to the 2012 Reebok world cross-fit championships in California.
The competition runs July 13-15.
