American golfer Tommy Gainey sat atop the leaderboard heading into action Saturday at the PGA Wyndham Championship in Greensboro, N.C.
The South Carolina product opened with a 7-under par 63 and shot a 5-under 65 to sit three strokes ahead of four golfers tied at 131 after two rounds.
Vernon’s Chris Baryla missed the cut by four strokes after carding opening rounds of 69 and 71.
Baryla had seven birdies and seven bogies over the two rounds.
