Sicamous Eagles netminder Max Gaudet proved he’s a keeper after making 41 saves in the team’s regular season opener in Kamloops.

Gaudet stopped 41 of 47 shots throughout the Eagles’ Friday away game versus the Storm. The six Kamloops goals were the only ones scored, with the Eagles suffering a 6-0 shutout.

Gaudet was named the game’s second star.
