James Gemmell, of Quesnel and his Team Canada sledge hockey teammates, earned a berth in the World Sledge Hockey Challenge final with a 9-2 semi-final win over fourth-place Japan.
Team Canada went through round robin play with a perfect 3-0 record, beating Japan 8-0, Norway 5-2 and the United States 3-1.
Canada faces the Unites States, Saturday, Dec. 3 at 4 p.m. MT in the gold-medal match which will be televised on TSN.
