Get ready to swing for freedom

Psalm 23 Charity Golf Classic coming to 108 Golf Resort

There is only six days left to register for the Psalm 23’s Swing for Freedom Charity Golf Classic taking place at the 108 Golf Course on July 23.

All of the funds raised will go towards supporting the Recovery Programs of Psalm 23’s Training Centre.

Final registration for the event is July 20.

Tee times start at 10 a.m. with two divisions to play from.

There is a two-player alternate-ball format for couples or friends looking for a bit more competitive challenge, or four-player scramble for the larger more casual groups. Dressing up is optional.

There will be no mandatory tee shots for the two player format.

Golf tickets are $100 each and include 18 holes of golf, golf cart rental, tournament golf cap, and buffet dinner ticket.

The dinner will be held later that day at 7 p.m. at the 108 Community Hall provided by the Psalm 23 catering team. Live entertainment will be provided by magician/storyteller Dave Hopkins.

The dinner event will also have a cash bar and a silent auction.

The organizers are also looking for volunteers to help with the dinner and the golf event.

To register or to volunteer, call Marvin Declare at 604-835-0855.
