The number of horseback riders participating in local events has grown considerably over the past few years thanks to organizations such as the North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo Association, Barriere and District Riding Club, North Thompson Pony Club, Little Britches Rodeo and the BC Rodeo Association.
