Matt Glinsbockel scores four times as Flyers stop Rangers 6-4 in Vernon Hockey League play.

Matt Glinsbockel scored four times as the Kalavida Flyers stopped the Re/Max Rangers 6-4 in Vernon Hockey League play Wednesday night at Wesbild Centre.

Logan Massie added 2+1 and Corey Massie earned four assists for the 3-0-0-1 Flyers. It was 1-1 at the midway ice clean.

Richard Jodoin, with 2+2, and Sawyer Mick, with 2+1, replied for the Rangers (2-1). Mike Jodoin supplied two helpers.

Byron Tiggelaar blocked 28 shots for the Flyers, while Blair Miller made 33 saves for Re/Max.

The Teale Utility Canucks used first-period goals 21 seconds apart in a 4-2 win over the Aquatico Bay Bar & Grill Sharks Tuesday night at Civic Arena.

Colin Fitzgerald and Darcy Quiring scored to bust open a 1-1 game late in the first period. Derek Martin drew assists on both goals.

Rob Killingbeck of the Canucks and Vernon Miskosky of the Sharks traded earlier first-period tallies. Nick Kalashnikoff made it 4-1 Canucks midway through the final period, while Matt Brenton replied for the Sharks with 68 seconds left.

Steven Clark made 30 saves for the win, while Chris Kingdon recorded 20 stops in the loss.

The Kasper Denture Clinic Red Wings won 1-0 by default over the goalie-less M&K Ready-Mix Bruins Tuesday night.
