Fuller Lake Skating Club members Amber Ree, Sarah Kedves, Riley Buckner and Marina Ellison earned Skate Canada Gold recently. Ladysmith skaters Ree, 14, and Kedves, 13, passed Skate Canada’s Gold Skills test for 2013. Buckner, a 14-year-old skater from Chemainus, passed the Gold Skills and Gold Interpretive tests while 15-year-old Ellison, from Duncan, passed Gold Skills and Gold Freeskate, said Fuller Lake coach Shannon McKinlay.
