The Golden Rockets had a tough time in Castlegar, losing the first two games of the third round of KIJHL playoffs.
In Game 2 last night (March 16), the Rockets were unable to fight back from a four-goal deficit after the first period.
Golden’s Josh Jewell put his team on the scoreboard with a shorthanded goal late in the second, but it wasn’t enough to get the Rockets back in the game.
The final score was 7-1 for the Castlegar Rebels.
The Rockets return home for games 3 and 4 at the Golden Arena on March 18 and 19, both starting at 7:30 p.m.
