Everything Aidan Malone, Lynden Lakovic and their B.C. Junior Canucks Brick teammates touched this season seemed to turned to gold.

The two West Kelowna boys helped the Junior Canucks team to three tournament wins over a five-week span, posting a perfect 20-0 record in the process.

Aidan, 10, Lynden, 9, and the Jr. Canucks captured the Spring Classic in Vancouver, followed by the North American Classic in Winnipeg, and finally the Brick Invitational in Edmonton.

The Brick Invitational, for 10-year-old players (born 2006), was played in its entirety at the West Edmonton Mall.

The Jr. Canucks went 8-0 at the tournament, playing games against teams from Chicago, Boston, Detroit, Toronto, Pennsylvania, Alberta and Minnesota.

Following two sets of tryouts late last year, Aidan and Lynden were both selected to the BC Jr. Canucks team in January.

The two boys play minor hockey in West Kelowna, as well as with the B.C. Interior Stars AAA program. Aidan plays defence while Lynden is a forward.
